Merit Badges

updated October 19, 2018

Scouts: If you want to start a new badge, you should contact the new Counselor before you continue or start working on a badge. See the attached list of “MB Counselor List

For more information on requirements, worksheets etc., please visit the Merit Badges page on Scouting.org.

Parents: As always, we need more Counselors. Currently, we only have 22 counselors covering 78 (out of 137 total possible) merit badges. For the 17 Eagle-required badges, we have on average about four (4) counselors for each.  And we are getting really low on Cycling (1), Environmental Science (2) and Lifesaving (2), only one (1) r two (2) each left.

If you are interested, please contact me. I can guide you through the forms and training. Any adult (including grandparents) can be a Counselor. It’s a fun way to get to know the Scouts while helping them advance.
